Certification of Hungarian Documents
If you wish to use your translated documents abroad, you may need to avail of our document certification and legalization services, detailed below. We can facilitate any level of authentication you require. It can be difficult to determine which certification is best suited to your needs; please contact us for comprehensive and impartial advice.
Certification of Hungarian Translations:
1. By the translator
This certification is issued by the translator who has translated the document or by the translation agency, and verifies that the translated document is an accurate Hungarian-English or English-Hungarian translation and is true to the original. It is the most basic level of certification.
It is customary for us to include the cost of this certification in the cost of the translation. If you require additional certified copies of the translation, we may have to charge extra. Please click here to see our competitive prices.
2. By a solicitor or notary
The certification issued by the translator may require authentication. In this case, the translator may sign the translation to certify its accuracy as described above in the presence of a solicitor or notary, who in turn certifies the signature of the translator. The translation is attached to a copy of the original and to a statutory declaration.
Depending on the seal you require, this certification costs between €15 and €25.
Notarization of Hungarian Translations
If your document is to be used in a country in which Hungarian is not the official language, it may require additional notarization of the translation by a registered notary. Please click here to see our competitive prices for notarization of various document types.
Hungarian Document Legalization
If a document is to be used abroad, it may require legalization by a registered notary in order to verify the country of origin of the document. This service typically costs €15-€25.
Depending on the purpose for which your translated document is to be used, you may require Apostille certification of the document. This guarantees that the document will be acknowledge as legal in any country signed up to the Hague Convention of 1961. “True Copy of the Original” Certification of Hungarian Documents
If you require a number of copies of your original document, we can verify that these are true to the original. Depending on the seal required, this typically cost €10-€15.
Validation of Hungarian Translations
Our translators are only permitted to certify translations which have been prepared by themselves or other employees of our translation agency. If however you are in possession of a translation which you desire to use, we can first validate the translation. After this, we can perform any of the certification services we offer, which you will find listed above.
We guarantee unrivalled customer service and value for money. To help us achieve this, it is helpful if you can inform us of the purpose for which you will use your translation so that we can recommend the most appropriate translation style and certification type for your requirements.
